Campus Visit Info

Visitors are welcome to IUCAA

The IUCAA outreach team provides informative campus visits for individuals, families and groups who wish to explore the campus and have an enjoyable, memorable, and learning experience.

Campus visit

This is the main suggested visit for those who wish to have an introduction to IUCAA, a walk inside the main campus, a look at the salient areas and description of astronomy through related exhibits. We also try to fit in a small Q&A / career session at the end of the trip if requested. Such visits to the main campus are planned only on Saturdays at 11 am. You may also check for our other programmes during which you can visit certain parts of IUCAA.

Please note

* People are welcome to visit IUCAA, but only with prior arrangement. Please make sure you schedule with us.
* Since IUCAA is a place of research, we give preference to study oriented trips rather than sightseeing.
* It is very convenient for us if you can arrange to come in a small group.
* Groups of School/College students (40-50 incl. teachers) may also inform us of any planned visits.
* No fees are charged for the visit and we expect any external organisers involved should also not do so using our name.
