The 2nd Saturday lectures / demonstrations at IUCAA have been in vogue for about three decades. On the Second Saturday of every month (when schools are in session) we host a lecture by invited scientists and personalities, for
school children of standard VIII, IX & X in and around Pune. The lectures are supplemented with demonstrations and slides. The local schools in our registered list are sent an invitation and details of the lecture every month. They can respond to this by selecting and sending 10 students and one teacher on the respective day.
